Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Picklesimer of Chelsea, Alabama are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Picklesimer, to Bart Pettus of Demopolis. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Mark Pettus of Demopolis.

Miss Picklesimer is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She was a member of the Troy University Cheerleading squad and Sound of the South dance team. She is employed with WDHN News in Dothan as a reporter.

Mr. Pettus is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports and Fitness Management. He was a member of the Troy University Baseball Team. He is employed with the City of Troy Parks and Recreation Division, in Troy, as the adult sports coordinator.

The wedding ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. in the evening on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Stone Bridge Farm in Cullman.
