In the new Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, the Marengo Academy and Marengo High girls’ teams are still ranked in the top-five in their respective classes. The Linden boys are also inside the top-five.

Marengo Academy is at No. 5 in the AISA poll with a 19-0 record. Marengo High is at No. 4 in the Class 1A rankings after their first loss of the season. They are 12-1 overall.

On the boys side, Linden is the only county team that is in the rankings. The Patriots are No. 4 in the Class 1A rankings with a 14-1 record.
