Marengo County sees slight increase in voter turnout over 2008

Voter turnout in Marengo County increased slightly over the numbers from the 2008 Presidential election.
In that year, 11,496 voters turned out in the county and on Tuesday, 11,575 voters went to the polls. This is a record high for Marengo County.
Of those 11,575 votes cast, 6,154 were for President Barack Obama and 5,321 were for former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.
