The 2013 Women Who Serve awards are open to all women in Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Hamilton, Lamar, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, Sumter or Tuscaloosa counties who have made significant contributions serving their communities especially impacting the lives of women and girls. Nominations may be submitted by any individual, employer, civic organization or agency in West Alabama.

GSNCA will also present the Karen LaMoreaux Bryan Lifetime Achievement Award to a woman who has demonstrated a lifelong dedication to making the world a better place through service to her community.

Women chosen for these awards will be recognized at the Women Who Serve West Alabama event in February 2013. Nomination forms are available at girlscoutsnca.org/womenwhoserve.

Deadline to nominate is Nov. 19.
