GREENE COUNTY-After months of silence, Greene County authorities were called to Dr. Rocks in Union Friday night to investigate gunshots.
Greene County Sheriff Johnny Isaac said investigations are in the early stages and stories are still sketchy. When the smoke cleared, Eric Harris of Eutaw was the only one injured.
Isaac said early reports left several loose ends.
“He and some other guys were standing outside Dr. Rocks in the parking lot in Union,” Isaac said. “Shots were fired and he was hit. That’s all we know right now.”
Harris was hit in the groin area. He was taken to DCH of Tuscaloosa by private vehicle. Isaac said they plan to talk to Harris soon.
As of Monday, there were no suspects in the case.
