Christian Chapel Baptist Church will host a luncheon Tuesday as a part of their “Sunshine People” group activities. The luncheon takes place every third Tuesday of the month at noon at the church.
The group is comprised of people ages 60 and above and all are urged to come out and enjoy friends and fun, said Annie Robertson, life center chairperson.
“We will enjoy a delicious lunch and also host a representative from Demopolis Police Department to register seniors for the Yellow Dot program,” she said.
Yellow Dot program participants receive a “Yellow Dot” decal, a “Yellow Dot” folder and an information form with their name, photo, emergency contact information and any pre-existing health conditions that would aid first responders in the case of an accident.
“We will enjoy friends, inspirational programs, information, food and fun,” she said.
