The Demopolis Middle School National Junior Beta Club recently inducted new members.

In all, 68 students were inducted into the club. New officers for the year at president Roderick Anderson, vice president Lauren Boone, secretary Mary Francis Brown and parliamentarian Macey Petrey.

To be in Beta Club, students must have an “A” average in all standard classes with no grade below a “B” in anything else. They also must have no discipline referrals for the previous year.

Beta Club sponsors are Meggin Mayben and Julie Massey. Cosponsors are Vicky Thorne, Deborah McAfee and Traci Pearson.
