Nell Virginia Hall

Nell Virginia Hall, age 75, of Linden, passed away October 19, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1930, in Thomaston. She was a seamstress and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at Bethlehem Baptist Church on October 22, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Daniel Gandy and Reverend Andy Mims officiating. Burial was at New Octagon Cemetery in Linden.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Hall of Linden; daughter, Rose (David) Houmes of Sarasota, Flor., and Sue (Mike) Sharpe of Linden; son, Gene (Annette) Hall of Orrville; sisters, Claudia Paparela of Thomaston, Juanita Norris of Sweet Water, Jane Dunn of Thomaston,

Bonnie Harrison of Nicholsvill and Barbara Mater of Camden; sister-in-law, Anita Parker of Thomaston; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Active pallbearers were Shaun Lehman, Jamie Sharpe, Michael Hall, Matt Houmes, Steve Norris and Darrell Schroeder. Honorary pallbearers were Buddy Vice, Vito Paparella, Craig Norris, Wayne Norris, Jim Norris, Tom Norris, Brad Harrison, Phillip Treadgill, Charles Dunn, and the Staff of the Marengo Nursing Home. O&8217;Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden was entrusted with arrangements.

Allen Jenkins

Mr. Allen Jenkins, age 49 of Birmingham, Alabama passed October 19, 2006 at his residence in Birmingham, Alabama.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Fellowship Cemetery, Boligee, Alabama.

Rev. Josie Williams will officiate.

Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
