Miley Kimbrell Lee, a fourth grader at US Jones Elementary and Demopolis native, is the new Young Miss COTR. She is the daughter of Windham and Teila Lee.

Miley embraced first alternate Buckley Elizabeth Nettles before taking her crown.

The Young Miss COTR court includes: fourth alternate Arri Ellice Beason, third alternate Abigayle Marie Quinney, second alternate Sara Elaine Jordan, first alternate Buckley Elizabeth Nettles and winner Miley Kimbrell Lee.

Before naming the top five finalists, the judges chose the top 17 out of 30 contestants.

Also in the top 17 were: Bridget Renea Cobb, Taylor Nicole Langley, Mary Clanton Webb, Kenzie Morgan Smyly, Mary-Kendall Glass, Jordan Nicole Bailey, Charity Erin Singleton, Abby Grace Cameron, Anna Kathryn Golden, Sarah Elizabeth Fondren, Ashanti Lavinia Bell, and Mackenzie Maleah Moore.

Demopolis senior Anna Stuart Cramer was crowned Miss Christmas on the River and the new Miss Junior Christmas on the River is Sally Mackey.

On Wednesday, Little Miss COTR will be named at the Demopolis Civic Center. Admission is $5 and the pageant begins at 6 p.m.
