The University of West Alabama football team has climbed to the No. 8 spot in this week’s D2Football.com Top 25 Poll, up two spots from last week after beating West Georgia, 24-20.

The Tigers are 4-1 heading into Thursday’s game against Midwestern State, currently 3-1 and ranked No. 14 by the D2Football.com media poll. Game time is 6:35 p.m. at Tiger Stadium on the UWA campus.
