Marengo Academy lost its second consecutive game Friday, as they fell to Wilcox Academy.

The Longhorns started the scoring with a 3-yard run from Hayden Huckabee, but a missed PAT made the score only 6-0. Wilcox responded with a touchdown to make the score 7-6.

In the second quarter, Wilcox struck first, but Marengo responded right before halftime on an 8-yard touchdown pass from Tyler Barkley to Shade Pritchett. Another missed PAT from the Longhorns made the score 14-12 in favor of Wilcox at the half.

Unfortunately for the Longhorns, they were done scoring for the night and Wilcox added one more score to make the final 20-12.

Huckabee led the Longhorns in rushing with 91 yards off of 20 carries.

Kyle Adams led the Longhorns on defense with nine solo tackles and an assist.
