Marlin Ellis Faught
GREENSBORO &045; Marlin Ellis Faught Sr., 94, of Greensboro died on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Hale County Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Greensboro Baptist Church with burial in the Greensboro Cemetery. Dr. J. Denton Goodwin and the Rev. Paul Desmond McGuire will conduct the services with Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel in charge of the arrangements. The body will lie in state from 1:30 until 2 p.m. at the church. The family will receive friends in the church following the graveside service.
Faught resided in Greensboro for 60 years, the last three as a resident of Colonial Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Agnes Blanton Faught, his parents, Ulysses S. and Tippie Grace Leith Faught; four brothers and four sisters.
He is survived by two sons, Marlin Ellis Faught Jr. and wife, Viva Dean Barnette, and Wayne Leith Faught of Greensboro; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Faught, Ken Faught, Ottis Morris, Frederick Thomas, Bill Douglas, Wayne Hoggle, Dennis Drake and Tommy Washburn. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff and residents of Colonial Haven Care and Rehabilitation Center, deacons and members of the Men’s Sunday School Class of Greensboro Baptist Church, former employees of Western Auto Associate Store, Howard McCrary, J. Frederick Key, Alfreda Morris, Betty Sur Thomas, Janice Day and Elizabeth Bunn.

Edna Imogene Buck Elliott
DEMOPOLIS &045; Edna Imogene Buck Elliott, 73, of Demopolis died on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Woodhaven Manor in Demopolis. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 30, 2007 at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Clay Cain officiating.Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral Friday one hour prior to the services.
Elliott was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Buck and Edna Young Buck; her son, Ralph Daniel &8220;Butch&8221; Cargile.
Elliott is survived by her son, Joseph &8220;Joey&8221; Richard Cargile and his wife, Terra of Auburn; one sister, Delene B. Anderson and her husband, George &8220;Scotty&8221; Anderson of Demopolis; three brothers, James A. Buck, Herman E. Buck and wife, Gloria and Gordon E. Buck, all of Demopolis; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Drew Cargile, Gunner Cargile, Brian Buck, Jamie Buck, Josh Buck and Travis Cargile.

DEMOPOLIS &045; Hazel Lee Wright Bedsole, 83,of Demopolis diedThursday, March 29, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2007 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Demopolis with the Revs. Aaron Raulerson and Bryan Hatchett officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

JEFFERSON &045; George Grover, 61, of Jefferson died on March 23, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the Small Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church in Jefferson. The Rev. Lawrence Wofford will officiate.
Interment will follow in Scott Memorial Cemetery in Jefferson.

LINDEN &045; Mattie Thomas, 87, of Linden died on March 22, 2007 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the St. Peter Baptist Church in Linden. The Rev. Byron Hannah will officiate.
Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
