Frank Richardson
FORKLAND &8212; Frank Richardson, 73, of Forkland died on March 30, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services were held at noon on Friday, April 6, 2007 at the Evening Star Baptist Church in Forkland. The Rev. Willie Carter officiated.
Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.
His wife, Artelia Richardson, great grandson, Khiry Renard Bell and his sister, Earlene Parker, all preceded him in death.
Survivors include nine children, Betty Bell and husband, Henry and Evelyn Richardson and husband, Dexter, all of Demopolis, Theodore Winters, Celia Simmons and husband, Ronnie, both of Forkland, Mark Richardson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla, Hattie Smith of Tuscaloosa, Earlene Richardson and husband, Wayne of Eutaw, Frankie Richardson and husband, Fred, of Demopolis and Cleopatra Jones of Forkland; 25 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Milton Hackworth and wife, Diane of Chicago; two sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
Mary J. Cosby
DEMOPOLIS &8212; Mary J. Cosby, 88, of Demopolis died on April 2, 2007 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at the Friendship Baptist Church in Demopolis. The Rev. Henry Thompson officiated.
Interment followed in Millers Chapel Cemetery in Demopolis. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements.
Her husband, Vinson Cosby Sr. and three children, Annie Holloway, Robert Cosby and Samuel Cosby, preceded her in death.
One brother, Eugene Clay, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include nine children, Silas Seabron and wife, Debra, Ruben Cosby, Amy Paige and Vincent Cosby and wife, Annie Mae, all of Demopolis; Betty Bullock and husband, George of Spring Valley, N.Y, Mary C. Thomas, Arthur Cosby and wife, Virginia, both of Demopolis and Eddie Cosby and wife, Nancy of Dover, Del.; 35 great-grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

NEW HARTFORD, Conn. &8212; Cleo Jones, of New Hartford, Conn., formerly of Jefferson died on April 5, 2007 at her residence.
Memorial services and public viewing will be held at noon on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Larkin&Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Demopolis. Interment followed in Scott Memorial Cemetery in Jefferson. Public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the funeral home chapel. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
Harvey McDonald
BOLIGEE &8212; Harvey McDonald, 20, of Boligee died on April 8, 2007 at Greene County Hospital in Eutaw. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Christian Valley Baptist Church in Boligee. Interment will follow in Taylor Place Cemetery in Boligee. Public viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home chapel. He was the son of Harvey McDonald Sr. of Birmingham and Evelyn Cotton of Hueytown. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis are in charge of the arrangements.
Ben Jackson Jr.
FORKLAND &8212; Ben Jackson Jr., the son of Ben Jackson Sr. and Julia Jackson of Forkland died on April 8, 2007 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the Carver Middle School in Eutaw. The Rev. Pharrell Fowler will officiate. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Forkland. The remains will repose at the school auditorium beginning at noon on Saturday.
Public viewing will be held from noon until 7 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home chapel. Williams Funeral Home of Tuscaloosa is in charge of the arrangements.
