Peggy Joyce Gray
GREENSBORO &8212; Peggy Joyce Gray, age 71, died Thursday, July 5, 2007 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Antioch Baptist Church in Greensboro with the Rev. Arthur Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Greensboro with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors in charge of arrangements. The Gray family will receive friends at Antioch Baptist Church Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service time.
Gray was a native of Fayette, a resident of Greensboro for 10 years and a former resident of Florida over 20 years. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Douglas Dean Gray of Greensboro; two daughters, Regina Thomas and her husband, Charles, of Greensboro, Sheree Morgan and her husband, Harley, of Geneva, Fla.; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Don Mullenix of Fayette and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rickey Sexton, Jason Gray, Woody Oakes, Mitchell Ryan, Joshua Ryan and Wayne Osburn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 57 Greensboro, AL 36744 or a charity of choice.
Lewis &8220;LT&8221; Randolph
GREENVILLE, S.C. &8212; Lewis &8220;LT&8221; Randolph, 88, of Eutaw died July 3, 2007 in Greenville, S.C. Funeral services for Randolph are set for 1 p.m. at the First United Baptist Church in Forkland with the Rev. Jamal Oliver officiating. Interment will follow the adjoining cemetery with McInnis Mortuary of Eutaw directing. Visitation is from 3-7 p.m. today at the mortuary and an hour before the service on Sunday at the church.
William Ellis &8220;Wood&8221; Dickinson
MARION &8212; William Ellis &8220;Wood&8221; Dickinson died July 2, 2007 in Selma. Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. on Friday at Siloam Baptist Church in Marion. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11a.m. at the church before the service Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing and the Rev. Scott Schuyler officiating.
His parents, Maurice Ellis Dickinson and Mildred McCollum Dickinson, preceded him in death.
His two nephews, Charles A. Dickinson of Killen and James Michael Dickinson of Loganville, Ga., survive him.

Margaret Beth Averette
MARION &8212; Margaret Beth Averette, of Marion, died July 5, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services for Averette are set for 2 p.m. on Monday at Waycross Bible Methodist in Marion, Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel will be directing. The Revs. Steve Vernon and Ron McCormick officiating, visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 8.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Charlotte Seagen Zoblotsky, survived by her husband James Oscar Averette of Marion, one son, Roy Allen Averette and wife, Deborah of Gordo; two daughters, Annie Annette Hillbrant and husband, Joseph of Cottondale and Barbara Lynn Averette of Plato, Texas; one sister, Linda Zoblotsky of Plato, Texas; two brothers Richard and Jack Zoblotsky of Plato, Texas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren
Active pallbearers are Charles Montz, Donald Averette, Stanley Averette, Spencer Clements, Donald Clements and Claude Breland.
James Kenneth Conley Sr.
DEMOPOLIS &8212; James Kenneth Conley Sr., 62, of Demopolis died Wednesday, July 4, 2007 after a brief illness. Funeral services for Conley will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007 in the Murchison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Moye officiating. Interment will follow in the Hardens Chapel Cemetery in Toombs County, Ga.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday. Murchison Funeral Home of Vidalia, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
Conley was a native of Tattnall County, Ga. and graduated high school there. He lived in Brunswick, Ga. for several years before moving to Demopolis in 1987 where he had been employed with Suttles Truck Leasing as a dispatcher.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Kenneth Conley Jr., in 2006, and his mother, Lena Spikes Conley. Conley is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elaine V. Conley of Demopolis; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Rachel Conley of Demopolis; two daughters, Tammy Guevara of Memphis, Tenn. and Selena Conley of Demopolis; two grandsons; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; his father and step-mother, Jim and Gladys Conley of Lyons; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nora Jean and Irvin Davis of Waycross and Karen and Wayne Moran of Sanford, Fla. and several nieces and nephews.
