Louise Rogers Moseley
NORTHPORT &8212; Louise Rogers Moseley, 88, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2007 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, 2007 at Gallion Baptist Church with the Rev. Timothy Davis officiating. Interment will follow at St. Andrews Cemetery in Gallion with Kidd-Robbins Funeral directors of Demopolis in charge of services.
The family will receive friends at the church 30 minutes before the service time.
Moseley enjoyed church, gardening, needlework and Atlanta Braves baseball.
Moseley&8217;s husband, Clayton Ellis Moseley, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Jean Burch and husband, Jim, of Tuscaloosa, Myrtice Moseley of Birmingham, Dianne Green and husband, Norman, of Cullman, Brenda LeBlanc and husband, Mike, of Huntsville; one son, Keith Moseley, of Tuscaloosa; two brothers, Charles Rogers, Santa Rosa, Calif., Dick Rogers of Northport; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Frank Rogers, Glen Lester, Jerry Rogers, Aubrey Moseley, Harold Moseley and Dale Hughey. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Melton, nieces and nephews, friends and staff of Merrill Gardens.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gallion Baptist Church, P.O. Box 42, Gallion, AL, 36742, or Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL, 35404.
Robert W. Crispin
DEMOPOLIS &8212; Funeral services for Robert W. Crispin, 85, of Demopolis were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 at Larkin&Scott Funeral Home Chapel in Demopolis. The Rev. Richard Fountain Sr. officiated. Anna Wilks served as the mistress of order. Interment followed in Memorial Cemetery in Demopolis. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the services. Crispen died on July 30, 2007 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis.
He is survived by four daughters, Earnestine Brock, Deborah Brock and Jerry Crispin of Demopolis, Shirley Kay Brock of New Rochelle, N. Y.; two sons, Theodore Brock of New Rochelle, N.Y., Walter Brock and wife, Barbara, of Mobile; seven stepchildren: Bessie Bracey and husband, Dave, of West Chester, N.Y., Johnnie McFadden and husband, Paul of Rockhill, S.C., Wallace Brock and wife, Ann, of Stanford, Conn., Robert Brock of Demopolis, Elois, Jordan, and Sylvester Burrell of Mobile; 45 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great grandchildren, 16 nieces and nephews, 32 great-nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

TUSCALOOSA &8212; Funeral services for Maurice Spencer, 32, of Tuscaloosa, formerly of Forkland were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Forkland. The Rev. William Branch is the pastor. The Rev. Willis Gulley officiated. The Rev. Jonathan Webb presided. Interment followed in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Forkland. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements. Maurice Spencer died on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at D.C.H. Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
He is survived by a companion, Tanya Morrow, of Northport; one son, Diamante&8217; Morrow, of Northport; daughter to be, Maya Morrow, of Northport; parents, Sallie Spencer and Hardis and wife, Catherine Washington of Forkland; six brothers,
Marcus of Huntsville, Alabama, Myrick and wife, Kim, of Montgomery, Michael and Mario Spencer of Forkland; Shavortis and Havortis Powell of Birmingham; four sisters, Darcy Holiday of Port Washington, N.Y., Roneisha Washington of Forkland, Roberta Hicks and Sheila Dancy of Northport;
a grandmother, Pauline Spencer of Columbus, Ohio; five aunts; three uncles and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Horace Gray Jr.
FORKLAND &8212; Funeral services for Horace Gray Jr., 79, of Forkland were held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007 at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Forkland. The Rev. William Branch officiated. Eddie Woods served as the master of ceremony. Interment followed in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Forkland. Larkin&Scott Funeral directors of Demopolis were in charge of the arrangements. Gray died on July 31, 2007.
He is survived by his children, Anner Gray and Sherry Wright and husband, Curtis, of Forkland, Terry Gray of Atlanta, and Johnethia Gray of Wetumpka, Vikki McDaniels of Tishabee; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; four brothers, Abraham Hall and wife, Ida of Dallas, Texas, James Washington of Detroit, Joseph Gray of Knoxville, Tenn. and Hextor Cameron of Kentucky; one aunt, two uncles, a devoted friend, Yvonne Belton, of Forkland; devoted cousin, Dorothy and Edward Wallace, of Demopolis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Kimisha Channel Turner
GAINSVILLE, Fla. &8212; Kimisha Channel Turner, 23, of Gainesville, died Aug. 8, 2007 in Greene County. Funeral services for Turner are set for 12 p.m. on Saturday at Greater Salem AME Zion Church in Panola with the Rev. Terry White officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery with McInnis Mortuary of Livingston directing. Visitation is today from 2 until 6 p.m. at the mortuary and an hour Saturday at the church before the service.
