Luella Eubanks
EUTAW &8212; Luella Eubanks, 97, of Eutaw, died Aug. 7, 2007, at Greene County Hospital in Eutaw. Funeral services are set for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug.12, 2007, at McInnis Mortuary Chapel in Eutaw with the Rev. Arthur Coleman officiating. Interment followed in St. Paul Cemetery in Boligee with McInnis Mortuary of Eutaw directed.
Arthur Foster Wilkerson
PRATTVILE &8212; Arthur Foster Wilkerson III, 67, of Prattville died Aug.12, 2007, at his home. A full military funeral service for Wilkerson is set for 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Thorton and Colonel James H. Benson officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes directing at the Marion Chapel in Marion. Interment will follow at Marion City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at Marion Military Institute Chapel.
Wilkerson was born on May 26, 1940, in Selma. A retired Lt. Col. United State Army.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Stella Bettis Wilkerson, of Prattville, two sons, Arthur Foster Wilkerson IV and wife, Carmen, and John MacLeod Wilkerson and wife, Toni, both of Prattville; one sister, Virginia Wilkerson Mullins, of Daphne and one niece, Louise M. Wackerman and husband, Joe, of Seattle and four grandchildren, all of Prattville.
Honorary pallbearers were Col. John Gibler, Irby Pope, Chris Skinner, Al Booth, Herbie Johnson, Mac Clark, George Watkins, Keith Kuzma, Mike Langley and the Autauga County Republican Club.

Harold F. &8220;Sonny&8221; Barton
VALLEY GRANDE &8212; Harold F. &8220;Sonny&8221; Barton, 64, of Valley Grande died Aug. 10, 2007, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Funeral services were held on Aug. 12, 2007, at Heigberger Methodist Church with the Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. Interment followed at Payne Chapel.
Barton was born Feb. 20, 1943, in Tuscaloosa, he was an Alabama state trooper for 29.5 years.
His parents, Hudson F. Barton and Mable Williams Barton, one son, Schott Dewayne Barton and two sisters, Carolyn Smith and Glenda Kay McAllister, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Langston Barton, two daughters, Belinda Barton Smith and husband, Jesse, of Birmingham and Jenny Barton Carter and husband, Richard, of Prattville; one brother, Richard Barton, of Sprott; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers were Bradley Seales, Don Kirchren Frank Rogers, Britton Langston, Brad Barton and Ken Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Alabama state troopers.

Jo Ann Lancaster Poole Kemp
GALLION &8212; Jo Ann Lancaster Poole Kemp, 68, of Gallion, died August 10, 2007, at her home. Funeral services were held on Aug. 12, 2007, at Memory Chapel officiated by the Revs. Ed Pickle and Timothy Davis. Interment followed in Memory Hill Gardens.
Kemp was born on June 22, 1939, in York.
Her father, Henry Lancaster, stepmother, Geneva Lancaster, husband, Edward Jackson &8220;Jack&8221; Poole and daughter, Terry Poole Coats, preceded her in death.
She is survived by husband, George D. Kemp, two daughters, Angela Poole Crews and husband, Danny, Salena Sickler and husband, Jim; two sons, Edward J. Poole Jr. and wife, Pam and Perry Kemp and wife, Colleen, her parents: mother, Louise Prine and stepmother, May Lancaster; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Josh Poole, Mike Omar, Craig Seale, Gene Poole, Buddy Brownlee and Wayne Hollingsworth.
