Remember blessings and those in need

As we sit down for our Thanksgiving meal today, we will give our thanks for the blessings in our lives.
This should not be an annual event, but rather something we do daily. Recognizing those things for which we are grateful will help us to take fewer things for granted.
And at the same time, by acknowledging what we have, we will become more mindful of those who have less &045; and especially those who have very little.
In giving thanks, the best appreciation we can show for blessings is to bless those who are less fortunate.
In this time of giving, we encourage all to not only give thanks, but also to reach out.
