Elizabeth Ann Spence Rhyne

DEMOPOLIS &8212; Elizabeth Ann Spence Rhyne, 69, of Demopolis, died on March 6, 2008.
Her parents, Robert Lester and Lucille May Spence, precede her in death.
She is survived by three sons:
Darryl B. Rhyne and wife, Jeanie, of Elkin, N.C., Gregory P. Rhyne of Demopolis, Michael C. Rhyne and wife, Mary, of Demopolis; five grandchildren; sister, Dorothy &8220;Dot&8221; S. Crawford of Demopolis and brother, William L. Spence, and wife, Brenda, of Northport.
The family extends thanks to a friend, Leroy &8220;Curly&8221; Vanderheiden, and caregiver, Georgia Isaac, for their care and devotion.
She worked for the Demopolis City Board of Education and retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers of Demopolis. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Demopolis.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tommy Carr officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the memorial service at the First Presbyterian Church.
Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors directing services.
Pallbearers will be David Stephens, Ken Fernandez, Brandon Smith, Jimmy Mackin, Thomas H. &8220;Tom&8221; Boggs Jr. and Scott Kirkpatrick.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Demopolis, AL, 300 N. Strawberry Avenue, Demopolis, AL, 36732.
