Bruce Cogle Huckabee, 83, of Kimbrough died Jan. 18 at his home. He was born Dec. 24, 1928 in Sweet Water. He was a former logger and a member of County Line Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Audrey Janice Huckabee of Kimbrough, son, Jimmy Allen Huckabee of Crestview, Fla., son, Roger Dale Huckabee of Kimbrough, son, Michael Stephen Huckabee of Mobile, daughter, Brenda Elaine Huckabee of State Line, Miss., son, Larry Eugene Huckabee of Moores Valley, daughter, Rita Knight of Thomasville, 18 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

he was preceded in death by his son, William Gerald Huckabee. Graveside funeral services were held at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Denny Couturie officiating.

Active Pallbearers were Ricky Coxwell, Kerry Coxwell, Randall Coxwell, Anthony Sayers, Larry Moss and Billy George Huckabee.

Honorary Pallbearers were Dr. T.B. Darji, Ellis Dock and Mr. Huckabee’s grandchildren.
