DEMOPOLIS &8212; William H. Traeger Jr., 79, died Friday, April 18, 2008, at his home. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Trinity Episcopal Church with the Rev. Richard Cobbs IV officiating. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors directing services.

Traeger was a native and lifelong resident of Demopolis. He was owner of Traegers Bakery, a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Demopolis Rotary Club.

His son, James Watson Traeger, his parents, William H. Traeger Sr. and Rose Heubach Traeger, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Amelia Watson Traeger, of Demopolis; one son, William H. Traeger III and his wife, Maureen, of Demopolis; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Marie Sumerel, and her husband, William, of Greenville, S C.

Honorary pallbearers will be Trinity Episcopal Friday A.M. Breakfast Club, Men&8217;s Coffee Club and The Demopolis Rotary Club Members.
