Linden (4-3) ended a strong week of play Friday night with an 86-48 skunking of visiting Choctaw County.

The Patriots got 21 points from junior Shauka Reese, who sat out the fourth quarter after his strongest performance of the season.

Wilvonta Horton turned in an eye-popping 20 points and 20 rebounds to go along with six blocks in the win while Imoras Agee had 14 points and six rebounds.

Chris Rogers added a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds in the game.

The contest was the only boys game of Linden’s Christmas Classic, which had been set to include Sunshine and John Essex before an unexpected cancellation.
