DEMOPOLIS &8212; Summer is a time for fun and relaxation &8212; and a little bit of celebration, too.

The Demopolis Public Library hosts a movie under the stars at the city landing July 22, with festivities beginning at 7:30 p.m.

While it won&8217;t be dark by then, librarian Morgan Grimes urged parents and youngsters to head out early.

The movie is fit for the whole family, too, as the library has opted to show &8220;Horton Hears a Who.&8221;

Assistant librarian Kelly Tarpley said the event is a great one for the entire community to enjoy.

The first movie under the stars, in 2007, was a huge success for the library, Tarpley said.
