Griffith-Peake

Emily Nicole Griffith of Tuscaloosa and Patrick Pierce Peake of Mobile were married July 12 at Taylorville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Daniel C. Hillen officiating the 2 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jay and Terry Griffith of Tuscaloosa. She is the granddaughter of Nancy J. Allen of Tuscaloosa, Morris L. Allen of Forkland, Patricia N. Griffith and the late J.W. Griffith, Jr. of Tuscaloosa. Emily is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Ophelia L. Jacobs of Eutaw.
Parents of the groom are Kathryn Pierce Peake Tuttle and the late Gerald Alton Peake, Jr. of Mobile. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Donald F. Pierce and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Alton Peake, Sr., of Mobile.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white strapless side drape gown with a beaded lace bodice and a trumpet skirt with a sweep train.
The bride was attended by Kristen Griffith, sister of the bride, as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Hilary Davis of Dayton Ohio, Kate Gates of Tuscaloosa, Jaye Herrod of Prattville, Elizabeth Peake of Mobile, Sarah Beth Shepherd of Jacksonville, Florida, and Tara Volnoff of Elmore. Flower girl was Kaitlyn Jacobs of Tuscaloosa, cousin of the bride.
Freddy Taul of Mobile, served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were J.D. Chandler of Sylacauga, Matt Fraser of Brewton, Ethan Leslie of Mobile, Jay Peake of Atlanta, Georgia, Matt Turner of Montgomery and Knox White of Mobile. Ring bearer was Donald F. Pierce, III of Nashville, Tennessee, cousin of the groom.
After a five-day cruise to the Western Caribbean, the couple will live in Tuscaloosa.
