Michelle Huckabee, 50, a waitress of Linden, died Wednesday, Oct. 19 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

She was born Feb. 8, 1961 in Demopolis. She was a member of the Fairhaven Baptist Church in Demopolis.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur David Huckabee of Linden, daughter Jamilynn Black of Linden, father Gary Holman of Demopolis, other Joanne Holman of Demopolis, brother Mark Holman of Birmingham, brother William Joseph Holman of Demopolis, sister Chere T. Dobbs of Demopolis, sister Wanda H. Dye of Birmingham, grandchild Sumerlin Meshell Wright of Linden, grandchild Thomas Tristin Shiloh Wright of Linden, uncle Donald A. Thibodeaux of Madeville, La. and many sweet and loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Joe Sumerlin, grandmother Ann Judson Sumerlin and brother Robbie Dale Holman.

Graveside funeral services were held at the Linden Memorial Park on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. with Gwin Etheridge officiating.
