The Marengo Panthers (4-3) walloped hapless Fruitdale last night, 33-15 at home.

After slogging through a 7-7 first quarter, Marengo exploded for 26 points in the second quarter and took a 33-13 lead into the half. The Panther defense kept Fruitdale out of the endzone for the reminder of the game, with the Panthers only giving up a safety in the third quarter.

Donte Packer led the Panthers with 15 carries and 101 yards on the ground. Defensively, Cardarrel Robinson had 13 tackles and one interception.
