Griggers re-elected as District Attorney

The unofficial tally shows incumbent Greg Griggers defeating his opponent by more than 1900 votes in a district attorney’s race that drew voters to the polls in three counties.
Griggers largest margin of victory was in Marengo County where he carried a 2066 vote lead.
Griggers narrowly edged the opposing Barrown Lankster by 22 votes in Greene County and lost Sumter County to Lankster by 134.
Still, Griggers’ overall lead proved insurmountable across the district.
