Sometimes things happen that create barriers between people or entities. They often happen without intent and almost always leave hurt feelings. The situation revolving around Linden Athletic Field and the Linden High football team’s use of it is one of those situations where a barrier has been created. No one can speak to the intent of the actions that led to the differences aside from the individuals directly involved. But what is for certain is that a resolution must be reached quickly and amicably.

The men and women on the Linden High side of the equation are in the business of equipping young people to be good citizens and make sound decisions. Those in the Linden Athletic Association have the same goals. Their best bet to be effective educators and mentors is to put into practice the same lessons they strive to teach young people.0
