Local teen will represent 4-H

The 2009-10 Alabama 4-H state council was inducted in a special ceremony conducted during the 4-H Midwinter Teen Leadership Retreat held at the Alabama 4-H Youth Development Center in Columbiana.
Twenty teen 4-H members from across Alabama pledged their heads, hearts, hands and health to the betterment of Alabama 4-H throughout the course of the upcoming year.
Haley Hall of Gallion was among the 20 youth selected to represent Alabama 4-H throughout the 2009-10 year. The Alabama 4-H state council is a prestigious leadership body responsible for supporting the vision and mission of Alabama 4-H as well as supporting various local, county, regional and statewide programs and activities. Youth who serve on the 4-H state council are also responsible for assisting with an innovative and high-profile state council community service project as well as their major role, the planning and implementation of the 4-H Mid-Winter Teen Leadership Retreat.
Haley is the daughter of Franky and Ramona Hall and a member of the Marengo Rangers 4-H Homeschool Club and the 4-H 4-Life Service Club.
