Do the right thing

Last week, I witnessed a car accident. I stayed with the accident until the police arrived, and when they arrived, I gave the officer the information that I had.
There was no reward involved except for the satisfaction of doing the right thing.
The Demopolis Police Department is looking for information that would lead to an arrest of the person responsible for the murder of Randy Warren on Feb. 16, 2008.
To encourage witnesses to come forward, they are offering a $5,000 reward for information that would lead to an arrest.
Surely, someone somewhere has some information — maybe they heard something that was reliable information or knows somebody who knows something. That information would not only help the police close a year-old murder case but would help bring closure for the family of Randy Warren.
If you have information or anything the police might be able to use, please call the department at (334) 289-3073 or its Tip Line at (334) 289-1475. Informative calls can be confidential.
If you know something that may be of value to the police, it is your duty as a citizen to help them do their duty. Call one of the numbers above with whatever information you may have.
Do it for the reward money. Do it because you care about the victim’s family. Do it because it’s the right thing to do.
