The University of West Alabama’s College of Business provided customer service and professionalism training to employees and volunteers of the Theo Ratliff Activity Center on Friday, March 11.
The training was conducted and facilitated by Dr. Jan Miller and Mr. Billy McFarland.
The employees and volunteers participated in a four-hour training session in which they were taught the FISH! Philosophy.
Imagine a workplace where everyone chooses to bring energy, passion and a positive attitude with him or her each day – an environment in which people are truly connected to their work, their colleagues, and their customers. Impossible? No! And “FISH!” and the FISH! Philosophy training materials will help you lead people towards creating that environment in your organization.
The FISH! Philosophy has six basic components: It starts with me; Be there; Play; Make their day; Choose your attitude and Find it, Live it, Coach it.
The Theo Ratliff Activity Center participants were actively involved through various activities mastering the FISH! Philosophy.
