Otha Otto Watson, 92, of Demopolis passed away March 6 at Perry County Nursing Home in Marion. Born Dec. 21, 1918 in Wilcox County, Ga. to the lat Julius Jefferson and Saludie Estelle Mitchell Watson, he was preceded in death by his parents, wife Eunice Hall Watson, daughter Judy W. McMillian, four sisters Estelle Bragg, Bessie Clark, Christine Goodwyne and Inez Powell and his brother Buford R. Watson.

He is survived by his daughters Marie W. Williams (Charles O.) of Newbern and Beverly W. Lucas (John A.) of Birmingham, son Thomas O. Watson (Nancy) of Stafford, Va., sisters Ruby W. Davis of Cordele, Ga., Ethelle W. Thornton of Seville, Ga. and Mary W. Burnette of Cordele, Ga., 14 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 11 at Seville Baptist Church in Seville, Ga. at 1 -.m. eastern standard time with Rev. Tim Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Greg Lake, Donn Tarpley, Ross Watson, Zack Watson, Glenn Garner and Gene Davis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Seville Baptist Church, P.O. Box 98, Seville, Ga. 31084. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
