Bonnie Faye Honeycutt

Bonnie Faye Honeycutt, age 82, of Gallion died on Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation in York.  She was born Oct. 1, 1942 in Sumter County to Ervin and Sara F. Wilson Lawrence. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Preston Honeycutt (Angel) and Derik Honeycutt (Regina); daughters, Wanda Norris (Jim) and Barbara Etheridge (Charley); brothers, Pete Lawrence (Biddie) and Monroe Lawrence (Carolyn); sister, Georgia Walker; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie P. Honeycutt; parents, Ervin and Sara F. Wilson Lawrence; sister, Donnie Diamond; and brothers, Jack Lawrence, Oliver Lawrence, Ernest Lawrence, and Henry Lawrence.

Graveside funeral services were held at Providence Cemetery on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. with Kelly Etheridge officiating.

Active pallbearers were Dalton Etheridge, Carson Etheridge, Wallace Walker, Jr., David Beverly, Kevin Bell, Dale Lowery, and Jonathan Owens.
