Main Street Demopolis will be taking time next week to celebrate all of its achievements and successes during the year 2024 while looking forward to 2025 during its membership meeting.

The annual membership meeting will be held at 101 North Walnut Ave. in Demopolis beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025. They will also have a chance for membership renewals and applications.

Members will also be able to vote for board members and get involved.

“Join us for snacks, drinks, a 2024 wrap up, and membership renewal,” the organization said in a social media post. “Members will have the opportunity to vote for new board members, sign up for committees, share ideas and ask questions. Not a member? Don’t worry. You’ll have a chance to join.”

Main Street Demopolis is a designated community of Main Street Alabama. It is a nonprofit organization that stresses public-private partnerships, broad community engagement, and strategies that create jobs, spark new investment, attract visitors, and spur growth. Main Street builds on the authentic history, culture and attributes of specific places to bring sustainable change.
