Daniel Chase Yelverton, age 39, of Alexander City, went to his heavenly home on Dec. 30, 2024. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dan and Lexa Spidle; his paternal grandparents, Billie Mack and Myrtle Yelverton; and cousins, Tommy Thrash and Hunter Yelverton.
He is survived by his daughters, Ella Catherine Yelverton and Lexie Jayne Yelverton; father, Mike Yelverton; mother, Tina Spidle Yelverton; his brothers, John Michael (Rachel) Yelverton and Greg (Jessica) Yelverton; his wife, Tonya Q. Yelverton; stepsons, Landyn Davis and Jordan (Haylie) Davis; a bonus grandson, Jayden Davis; nephews, Hayden Yelverton and Jake Yelverton; nieces, Brantleigh Grace Yelverton, Kollins Yelverton and Lakynn Yelverton; and life long friend, Adam Hall, along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
At an early age, Chase was taught to play the guitar by his grandfather, Billie Mack Yelverton, and it became his lifelong passion. He continued to play the guitar and taught others to play as well. He loved God, his girls and his family.
A memorial service will be held in Belmont at the Old Belmont Church on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2025, with visitation held at 11 a.m. with service to follow.
Honorary pallbearers are Adam Hall, Jordan Davis, Landyn Davis, Lane Phillips, Gregory Pettaway, Lucas Grantham, Levi Cook and John Griffith.
