Mutual Savings Life Insurance made a $500 donation to local community service group Coming Together Organization (CTO) on Wednesday.
“This money will be earmarked for our Christmas and Give a Child a Wish projects,” said CTO president Willard Williams. “It will also go towards other projects and needs that the community might have.”
“Mutual Savings provides families with money to provide for different things,” said district manager Valeria Miller. “We give scholarships, and we give money to people in the neighborhood that we provide coverage for in our business.
“We like to provide any kind of service that we can to the community, anything that would be beneficiary. We also do 20 hours of community service, and we plan to help CTO through that service.”
Anyone wanting to join the Coming Together Organization can contact any member or Williams at (334) 289-0142 or (334) 216-3310.
