James Harding Kaylor Jr., age 80, of Linden died Friday, July 26, 2024 at his home. He was born Sunday, July 9, 1944 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to James Harding Kaylor Sr. and Lida Cunningham Kaylor. He was a retired millwright and a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by sons, Robbie Kaylor and Mike Kaylor; daughters, Dana Tucker, Barbara Etheridge and Lea Ann Langley; two brothers, Michael Kaylor and Roy Kaylor; four sisters, Susie D. Skinner, Kimberly D. Clark, Gale D. Senn and Lillian K Colbaugh; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Johnny DeWitt; and sister, Jo Anne K. Waver.
Funeral services were held at Forest Hill Baptist Church on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 10 a.m. with Matt Kelley officiating. Burial followed at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery in Demopolis.
Active pallbearers were Lance Kaylor, Hagen Kaylor, Mason Tucker, Ralph Langley, Thomas Etheridge, Trent Kaylor and Caleb Kaylor.
Honorary pallbearers were The Golden Oldies and Gene Tolbert.
