David Penrith Turner, age 74, of Demopolis died March 23 at Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery. He was born August 31, 1949 in Demopolis to David and Gwyndolyn Turner. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Luker Turner; sister-in-law, Martha Turner; brother-in-law, John Coleman; sister-in-law, Becky Fowler; brother-in-law, Mark McCrory; nieces and nephews, Hannah Lavey (John), Sarah Chandler Hallmark (Luke), Emily Turner, John Turner (Ashley), Laura Coleman, Elizabeth Gillis (Justin), Jonathan Knight (Shyanna), John Brister (Jan), Rachel Reeves (Heath) and Debra Knight; and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Gwyndolyn Turner; brother, Joseph C.P. Turner; sister, Penny Turner Coleman; and aunt, Margaret Sinclair Turner.
Memorial services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2 with Father Evan Thayer officiating.
