The Marengo Panthers 2023 football season ended in a 63-0 loss to the Flomaton Hurricanes Thursday.
The Panthers were unable to get successful drives going as they were plagued by fumbles and stalled drives due to the strong Flomaton defense. By the end of the first quarter, the Hurricanes had taken a 28-0 lead and refused to let up. By halftime, the score was 57-0.
In their next game, the Hurricanes will face the Wellborn Panthers from Anniston on Friday, Nov. 10.
The Marengo Panthers finished the season with a 2-4 regional record, and a 3-7 record overall.
