The gift was from Bert and Mary Louise Rosenbush, who together ran Rosenbush Furniture Store in Demopolis, which, at that time was the oldest home owned furniture store in Alabama.

Mr. and Mrs. Rosenbush were both very caring, hardworking and generous members of the community during their active years, and Mrs. Rosenbush has continued that as much as possible since Bert passed in 2019.
