A two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, June 13 claimed the life of a Pine Hill man, as reported by Alabama State Troopers.

At around 12:10 p.m., Norman L. Pritchett, 39, was killed when his 2014 Chevrolet Captiva collided with a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by a 17-year-old also from Pine Hill. The name of the teenager has not been released.

According to ALEA (Alabama Law Enforcement Agency), the crash happened at Marengo County 55 near Alabama 25, 10 miles south of Pine Hill. Pritchett was pronounced dead while en route to a hospital. The 17-year-old was taken to a hospital for treatment.

State Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
