Residents must call in for pick-up of limbs and white goods. Please call 334-654-4330 to schedule a pick-up. In your message, please include your name, phone number, address and a brief description of what needs to be picked up.

Pickups will be scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. Please remember to separate limbs from white goods when putting items out for pick up. Grass clippings, leaves, and clippings from shrubs will only be picked up if they are placed in bags. We ask that you neatly place your limbs and white goods behind the curb. Please do not place any items in the street. Trees and parts of trees should not be more than fifteen (15) inches in diameter and no more than (8) eight feet long.

Building debris such as lumber, plaster, roofing, concrete, brickbats, or similar materials resulting from the construction, repair, or demolishing of any building or structure on private property, including dirt and rocks, will not be removed by the Public Works Department, but the owner is responsible for this waste to be removed.

Public Works is not responsible for cleanup or removal of debris behind contract labor, such as contractors, landscapers, construction, fence companies, and tree surgeons.

Please be patient as Public Works implements this new system. The Public Works Department looks forward to providing the City of Demopolis and its citizens with excellent service.
