The Blackbelt Regional Child Advocacy Center is hosting a Cookies with Santa fundraiser on Thursday, December 15 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The BBRCAC is located at 208 North Strawberry Street in Demopolis.
BBRCAC Director Charlotte Webb said there will be homemade cookies for the event and will be available to anyone who stops by. The cookies will not be priced, but the center is receiving donations. The donations will go towards the upkeep of the center and help keep resources stocked. All donations are tax deductible as the center is a 501 (c)3 organization.
Volunteers are asked to package and label cookies by the dozen in Ziploc bags, and bring them to the center by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Reindeer food will also be for sale during the event.
Webb said children will be able to have their pictures taken with Santa, and write their letters to him while they are visiting the center.
The employees of the BBRCAC invites everyone to attend this important year end fundraising event.
