The Batter Up Sports Bar and Grill has been named the September Business of the Month by the Demopolis Area Chamber of Commerce. Batter Up is “the spot for all your sports entertainment needs and favorite drink or meal” and is located at 507 U.S. Hwy 80 W.
Batter Up has an assortment of items on its menu such as wing baskets, chicken tender baskets, shrimp brackets, catfish dinners, sandwiches like the Home Run Burger, the Louisville Sluggers, Philly Cheese Sandwich, and Poboys. They also have fountain drinks and desserts like funnel cake fries and ice cream.
Batter Up also hosts Trivia Night on Wednesdays, and welcomes customers in on the weekends to watch the big games on 14 wall-mounted TVs.
Batter Up’s operating hours are 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday. For more information call 334-287-1222.
