Blondee Thomas passed suddenly on August 25, 2022 at Druid City Hospital, Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

She was born to Flossie and Reese Thomas in Demopolis, AL, where she attended Morning Star Baptist Church.

Blondee graduated from U S Jones High School, Demopolis, and she was a member of the band.

She attended Booker T. Washington Business School and Miles College in Birmingham, AL.

Blondee previously lived in Flint, Michigan and San Diego, California.  She returned to Tuscaloosa and retired from Peco Foods.

Blondee was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Luvandy T. Sheppard; brothers, Reese Thomas, Jr., Simmie Thomas, Tony Thomas, Sr., Ray Thomas, and nephews, Kerwin Sheppard and Laurence T. Colen.

She is survived by sisters, Ruth Thomas, Tuscaloosa, AL, Lauretta Thomas, San Diego, CA, brother, Elmore Thomas, Long Beach, CA, sister- in- law, Velma Thomas, California; nieces Patricia (George) Glover, Tuscaloosa, AL, Carmen Sheppard, Jacksonville, FL, Sharon Bertram, Madison, AL, Veldemetric (Bryan) Lopez, Katina Thomas, Isis Thomas, Traci Smith, all of California; nephew, Tony (Michelle) Thomas, Jr. , Reynoldsburg, OH and a host of relatives and friends.

Graveside services were held 11:00 am Thursday, September 8, 2022 at West Highland Memorial Garden, 4001 – 21st Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.  Final arrangements entrusted to Wills Funeral Service.
