The Demopolis Lady Tigers softball team has won three in a row with victories over the Thomasville Tigers and the Excel Panthers
During the Leroy Tournament on March 12, Demopolis took a 4-2 win over the Thomasville and a 6-1 victory over Excel. The leaders for the DHS Tigers were Sydney Smith and Ashton Moorer.
On Monday, March 15, Demopolis played Thomasville again, and soundly beat the visiting Tiger team 6-0.

Freshman Madison Ford had 1 RBI, and Freshman Weezie Hughes had one hit for a single. Freshman #00 Ashton Moorer came in to pitch in the top of the 5th to finish the game in the6th having 5 strikeouts and giving up 0 hits.
Senior Wessie Jacobs, one hit for a single. Senior Sydney Smith, one hit for a single.
7th Grader #1 Allie Hughes, one hit for single. She opened the game pitching 4 innings, had 2 strikeouts and only gave up 2 hits.

Junior Abby Cameron, one hit for a single, and Freshman Ashton Moorer, went 2 for 2 at the plate with a single and a double. She pitched 5 innings finishing the game, had 12 strikeouts and only gave up 1 hit.
Senior Wessie Jacobs had 2 RBIs. Senior Sydney Smith, went 2 for 2 at the plate with a single and a double. Seventh grader Allie Hughes, one hit for a single.

Freshman Madison Ford was 3/4 at the plate with 3 singles. Junior Abby Grace Cameron had 1 hit at the plate for a single. Freshman Weezie Hughes had 1 hit at the plate for a single.
Senior Sydney Smith hit one over for a grand slam. Seventh grader Kiley Stokes had 1 hit at the plate for a single.
Freshman Ashton Moorer 1 hit at the plate for a single, pitched a full 7 innings, 19 strikeouts giving up only 1 hit.
The Lady Tigers take on the Selma Saints on the road this Thursday, March 18.
