Tom Dunn, 92, a resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee and a former resident of Sweet Water, died Sunday, Dec. 29, 2019 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.

Tom was born Oct. 26, 1927 in Olla, Louisiana to Thomas A. and Lena Bertha Dunn. He was a retired mechanic with John Deere Tractor Company and was a US Army veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife, Annie Lee Dunn; five children, Dianne Brown (Doug), Mike Dunn (Shelly), Nita Brown (Steve), Judy Olivia (Joe), and Pam Teague (Dean); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dixie Coleman and Shirley Mosley; and a special niece, Cecil Bedsole.

He was preceded in death by his son, Larry Dunn; his parents; two sisters, Hazel Etheridge and Beatrice Jernigan; and a twin brother, Joe Dunn.

Funeral services were held at O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Don White officiating. Burial followed at Geneva Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Kevin Brown, Corey Brown, Thomas Brown, John Dunn, Greg Swearingin, and Keith Bedsole.

Honorary pallbearers were Jason Brown, Patrick Rohlwing, Aaron Williamson, and Curt Swearingin.
