In recognition of Pilot International Founders Day, Demopolis Mayor John Laney and members of the Demopolis City Council welcomed members of the local Pilot Club to a meeting on Thursday, Nov. 1 when a proclamation was signed declaring the week of Nov. 4-10 as International Care and Kindness Week. The Pilot Club is dedicated to serving its community as signified by its motto, “Do More, Care More, and Be More.” Pilot International has been living by that motto for nearly 95 years and the Demopolis Pilot Club has been serving the local community since August 1947. The proclamation encourages others to serve their community and join Pilot Club members in fellowship and service.
