Demopolis to host 2019 Babe Ruth 14U World Series Baseball Tournament

On Sept. 5, Robert Flaherty, senior Vice President for Babe Ruth League, Inc., and Arthur Evans, Alabama Babe Ruth district commissioner and host president, signed a contract officially announcing Demopolis as the host city for the 2019 Babe Ruth 14U World Series Baseball Tournament, during which 10 baseball teams in the 14-year-old age division will be competing for the World Series title from Aug 7-16 at the Demopolis Sportsplex. Eight competitors will be determined by regional championships all over the country. The host team in Demopolis and the Alabama State Champion team will be the final two competitors.
