Pasquale Paparella

Pasquale Joseph Paparella, age 91, of Thomaston died on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Camden Nursing Facility.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1919, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a retired millwright, a member of Sardis Baptist Church and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Claudia Elizabeth Paparella of Thomaston; three sons, Vito (Linda) Paparella of Livingston, Pasquale Paparella Jr. of Millers Ferry and Clifford Paparella of Livingston; three daughters, Grace P. Ludeman of Pine Hill, Frances Paparella (Bill) Eddins of Pashuta, Miss., and Ann Paparella (Reese) Barkley of Linden; a sister, Sophie Paparella Ciccarone of North Babylon, N.Y.; a sister-in-law, Roseria Paparella of Margate, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A celebration of life service was held on Friday, April 9, at 11 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church with De. Bo Brantley officiating. Burial was at Holt Cemetery in Thomaston. O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home directed the services.
