Doris McCrory

Doris Sticher McCrory, age 70, of Demopolis passed away on July 4, 2010, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa.
She was born on Jan. 15, 1940, in Calvert.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Pete Sticher; and her husband, James William McCrory.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Ree King Ford of Foley; five sons, Gregor Clyde King of Mobile, Steven Dale (Ginger) King of Demopolis, Johnny Lee King of Demopolis, Phillip Jerald (Gina) King of Coffeeville and James William (Mary Ellen) McCrory Jr. of Demopolis; 16 grandchildren, Breanna McCrory, Justin Ford, Melanie McCrory, Justin Freeman, James Williams “Will” McCrory and Trent Blackwood, all of Demopolis, Dawn Armstrong (Shawn) Andrews and Natalie Ford, both of Foley, Ashley King of Montgomery, Heather Marie King of Atlanta, Ga., Jessica Platt of Mobile, Stacy DeRee King of Linden, Mary Renea Dismukes and Maurice Dismukes V, both of Coffeeville, and Lacy King and Lance King, both of Prattville; a great-grandchild, Mason Armstrong Andrews of Foley; and a special child whom she thought of as a daughter, Stephanie Lee Henderson.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, at 3 p.m. at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel is directing the services.
Pallbearers will be Raymond Wright, John Courtney, Sean Wilson, Richard Scott Jr., Justin Ford and Alan Duke.
